Landscape, 2022
Oil and acrylic modelling paste on shaped canvas.
An architectural space that forces the viewer to look through it in order to see the landscape. It hints at the concept that man has taken over and there are very few places left where one can admire the sublimity of nature without artificial interference. Can, said interference be equally sublime?
Lightly inspired by LeCorbusier’s “Colline Notre Dame du Haut”, with it’s curved white walls and it’s geographical placement in harmony with the land.
